Equity.

It is not just something we say or write about.

It’s what we believe in unconditionally.

International Women’s Day Website

The campaign theme for 2023’s International Women’s Day was #EmbraceEquity.

The theme was chosen to create awareness that each individual can actively support and embrace equity within our own spheres of influence.

MoEngage’s ERG, WeForShe, hosted a series of activities such as engaging online contests, a charity drive, an expert session, and an interactive panel with experts in the month of March.

About WeForShe

WeForShe is an Employee Resource Group at MoEngage. The ERG was formed to support and enhance the experience for women employees at MoEngage.

Additionally, WeForShe aims to optimize the gender balance across MoEngage to capitalize on the power of inclusion, equity, and diversity.

1. Selfies to Embrace Equity and a Wall of Quotes to Appreciate Women Everywhere

To align with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, MoEngage employees submitted selfies embracing themselves, which were an indication to forge harmony and unity.

We have all encountered women who have inspired, mentored, or supported us in our journey – whether it is someone with whom you’ve worked directly or a leader who has inspired you from afar.

MoEngage employees submitted quotes to appreciate these women in their lives, which were displayed as a Wall of Quotes.

MoEngage also started a fundraiser on Give.do for the project ‘Women Empowerment through Vocational Training for Rehabilitation.’

This fundraising initiative helps achieve the following actions:

  • Empower women in distress in every way – socially, emotionally, or financially to restore them to their rightful and dignified status in society.
  • Nurture their inner strength, creativity, and self-esteem and prepare them to face the world with confidence and grace.
  • Prepare them to promote equality through community initiatives and become agents of peace, equality, and positive social change.
  • Provide them with education, knowledge, vocational skills, attitude, soft skills, and mentoring.
  • Train women in marketing practices that will empower them to be self-reliant by breaking into higher-paid employment and becoming economically independent.
