[Event] Mobile Growth Meetup – Delhi (Nov 19, Saturday)
Reading Time: 2 minutes
India’s position in the global mobile-first market still remains undisputed. Take a look at the statistic below. Between 2012 and 2015, mobile app downloads increased from 1.56 billion to 9 billion per year. WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and UC Browser were the top apps of 2015 whereas Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and Paytm remain the most popular ecommerce apps.
The growth in the number of mobile app companies in the consumer internet space has also increased manifold. With a host of new apps coming up every day and a few going bust, it’s easy to get lost in the quandary. Moreover, when you look at the top mobile apps that are in use, it cuts a very grim picture for growth marketers and product managers. Mobile apps out there are constantly fighting for the ‘top spots’ in consumers’ device and to achieve this, marketers need to think out-of-the-box growth strategies and stay competitive.
We have worked with a host of successful consumer internet companies in India helping their marketing teams drive better  user growth, engagement and retention. Keeping the above in mind the Mobile Growth Meetup is our way to help mobile internet companies and budding entrepreneurs sharpen their growth and marketing efforts.
A big thanks to the Branch Metrics team who have partnered with us to bring you the Mobile Growth Meetup in Delhi this Saturday, 19th November 2016. We are bringing together an esteemed panel of highly successful mobile marketers, product managers and entrepreneurs from some of the biggest consumer internet companies like MakeMyTrip, Oxigen Wallet and Grofers.
In this meetup we’ll hear best practices and strategies for growth from four mobile experts, and leave plenty of time for refreshments and social time.
Topics covered will be user acquisition through paid or organic means, deep linking, tactics for growth that have worked really well (and a few you might want to avoid), as well as making a game plan for things like push notifications, a/b testing, soliciting user feedback, and discoverability.
